My journey at The Calcutta Anglo Gujarati College
from 2021 to 2024 as a BBA student has been truly
special. Over these three years, I’ve not only
grown academically but also had the chance to
explore, learn, and enjoy so many experiences
that shaped who I am today.

The faculty here have been more than just
teachers—they’ve been mentors who pushed us
to think differently, stay curious, and always give
our best. From seminars to project work, the
learning was always engaging and practical.

Outside the classroom, I got to be part of a bunch
of great events—quizzes, freshers and farewells,
and of course, cricket and football tournaments
that brought everyone together, students and
faculty members alike. These moments helped me
build confidence, teamwork, and friendships I’ll
always value.

What I appreciated most was how the college
balanced academics with fun and growth. It gave
me the space to figure things out, develop skills,
and just enjoy the process at my own pace.

I’m genuinely proud to be an Alumnus of The
Calcutta Anglo Gujarati College—it’s a place that’s
left a lasting impact on me, and I’ll always look
back at these years with a lot of gratitude and
good memories.

Choosing to pursue my bachelor’s in business
Administration at The CAG college has been one of
the best decisions I’ve ever made. Beyond the
comprehensive curriculum and dedicated faculty,
this institution has truly been a catalyst for my
personal growth. I’ve noticed a significant boost in
my confidence, not just in academic settings, but
in all aspects of my life. As the Student Council
President, I’ve had a unique vantage point to
witness and experience how the college actively
fosters an environment that builds confidence and
significantly enhances one’s personality.

The various opportunities to participate in
presentations, group projects, and extracurricular
activities have played a crucial role in enhancing
my personality. I’ve learned to articulate my
thoughts more clearly, collaborate effectively, and
embrace challenges with a positive outlook. The
supportive and engaging environment here has
encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone,
leading to remarkable improvements in my
communication and leadership skills.

I’m incredibly grateful for the transformative
experience at The CAG college. I feel well
prepared for my future career and confident in my
ability to succeed, thanks to the holistic
development I’ve received here.

Being a part of The
Calcutta Anglo Gujarati College has been one of
the most defining chapters of my life. These past
three years have given me so much more than just
a degree—they’ve given me confidence, clarity,
friendships, memories, and a sense of belonging.

From dancing at every event to hosting programs,
and serving as a proud member of the student
Council, I’ve grown with every opportunity that
came my way. This college helped me discover my
voice, my strengths, and even my vulnerabilities.
I’ve learned how to work in a team, lead with
empathy, and stay grounded through both
achievements and challenges.

The bonds I’ve built here—with my friends, my
teachers, and the college itself—will stay with me
forever. I feel a bittersweet mix of happiness and
sadness as this journey comes to an end. I am
happy because I carry so much growth and
learning with me, and sad because I’ll miss this
nurturing place I called my second home.

I am truly grateful to every faculty member and

My experience as a BCA student at Calcutta Anglo
Gujarati College has been incredibly positive. The
teachers are supportive, approachable, and
dedicated to helping students succeed. The
college provides a great environment for learning
and personal growth. The computer lab is well
equipped, offering hands-on exposure to the latest
technologies. I’ve gained a strong understanding
of core concepts and emerging tech trends. The
college also provides good opportunities through
workshops and guidance programs that have
helped shape my career path. I’m proud to be part

My time at The Calcutta Anglo Gujarati College has

a part of the 2009-2012 batch of BBA Honours
graduates from The Calcutta Anglo Gujarati
College, affiliated with WBUT University(now
MAKAUT).
My time at CAG College was not just about
academic learning; it was a nurturing environment
that fostered personal growth and development.

The rigorous coursework, combined with practical
projects, equipped me with essential skills in
management and communication. I developed
invaluable relationships with faculty and peers,
which played a significant role in shaping my
career.

Since completing my studies, I have had the
pleasure of working at Air India Ltd as a Cabin
Crew member for over a decade. This role has
allowed me to immerse myself in the airline
industry, where I apply the skills I acquired during
my time at college every day. The education and
experiences I gained at CA College have been
instrumental in my professional journey.

I look forward to giving back to my alma mater and
inspiring future students to excel in their pursuits.

Pursuing my BCA at The Calcutta Anglo Gujarati
College has been one of the most rewarding
decisions of my academic journey. The curriculum
is thoughtfully designed, blending theoretical
concepts with practical skills essential for today’s
tech-driven world. From programming languages
and data structures to web development and
software engineering, every subject was taught
with real-world relevance.
The faculty members are highly experienced and
approachable, always ready to guide and mentor
students both academically and personally. The
college also provided access to modern labs,
workshops, and regular industry interactions,
which kept us aligned with current trends in IT and
software development.
Apart from academics, the college encourages
participation in coding competitions, tech fests,
and Industrial Training, which greatly enhanced
my confidence and problem-solving abilities. The
support in placements was exceptional, with
numerous opportunities in top IT firms.
I’m truly grateful to C.A.G.C for shaping my skills,
character and career. I would highly recommend
this college to any aspiring computer professional.

While browsing for a B School in Kolkata, got to
know via a reputed newspaper about CAGC. Little
did I know it will have a massive affect on me in
personal and professional realms of life. Being a
favourite of all Teachers, Seniors & Juniors and
getting crowned as Student of the Year aka “Mr.
CAGC – 2012”. It has been a rollercoaster ride and
most memorable part of my life. Whereas, in
recent times I got to be a part of founding the
Alumni Chapter in year 2024, did few meaningful
events with college management and looking
forward for more collaboration on various verticals
for welfare of college, current students and recent
pass outs creating a robust Alumni association
network.

Transitional. That was my college experience
defined in one word.
The college placement cell is replete with
opportunities. It’s the reason I eventually landed
the desired job. The faculty is tremendously
knowledgeable and amicable. Rarely would you
find professors like them anywhere else, who
guide you throughout and even after the college
to make sure you attain the highest goals. The
campus is conveniently situated and offers a host
of cocurricular too.
For courses like the one that I studied, BCA, the
college gave me all I could’ve needed and much
more!

I am Dipesh Baheti, a proud alumnus of The
Calcutta Anglo Gujarati College, Batch of 2013–16
(BCA). My time at the college laid a strong
foundation for my professional journey in the
world of IT.

The curriculum was thoughtfully designed, and the
faculty were extremely supportive, always
encouraging us to build a strong conceptual and
practical understanding of technology. One of the
key milestones in my early career was securing a
job with TCS through campus placement—a
testament to the college’s focus on skill
development and industry readiness.

Currently, I’m working as a Senior Lead Engineer at
Majesco, and I continue to carry forward the
values and knowledge instilled in me during my
college years. I’m still in touch with the institution,
and it’s heartening to see it continue to nurture
young talent and evolve with time.

The Calcutta Anglo Gujarati College will always
remain a special part of my journey—it’s where it
all began.
