CONDUCT & DISCIPLINE

Ragging is strictly prohibited in the college premises. Any instance of ragging will be dealt with sternly by the Anti-Ragging Cell, and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken, including possible expulsion.

Students must wear their Identity Cards at all times within the campus. It must be produced when requested by any faculty member or staff.

Formal attire is mandatory for all students while on campus, in accordance with the decorum expected from a higher educational institution.

All students are expected to maintain respectful behavior within the college premises. The use of abusive language, indecent gestures, or disruptive conduct is strictly prohibited. Any violation of conduct norms may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion.

Attendance and participation in seminars, workshops, and presentations organized by the college are mandatory for all students, as they are integral to holistic learning.

Loitering in corridors, near the main gate, or within the auditorium during class hours is strictly forbidden and will be considered a breach of discipline.
ATTENDANCE POLICY

Regular and punctual attendance is compulsory for all enrolled students, as per the regulations laid down by MAKAUT, West Bengal.

A student must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in each subject to be eligible to appear in university examinations.

Attendance will be calculated from the official date of class commencement or the date of admission/enrollment, whichever is later.
EXAMINATION REGULATIONS

The college strictly follows all academic and examination norms laid down by MAKAUT, WB, including policies related to admission, assessment, and eligibility.

Students must compulsorily appear in two internal examinations conducted by the college during each semester. These tests contribute to continuous assessment.

The college’s decisions, made in accordance with university rules and academic standards, shall be final and binding on all matters related to examinations and internal assessments.
